How we handle your photos

A dossier is a record of the inside of your home. We treat that seriously, and we would rather explain our practices in plain words than in legal ones.

What we store

Your photos and the descriptions you write, held in our own storage with Cloudflare, the company that runs our servers. Nothing is posted anywhere public. A dossier can only be seen by someone who has its share link.

What we do not do

We run no advertising trackers. We do not sell or rent your information or your photos to anyone. We never estimate what your things are worth. If you give us your email address, we use it to send you your dossier link and, if you stay subscribed, The Great Sort letter — nothing else.

Photo coaching

When you add a photo, we may send that one photo to an American artificial intelligence model to check whether it is clear enough for an appraiser to use. We use AI models built by American companies, routed through OpenRouter, an American service, and we require the setting that forbids keeping your photo or using it to train models. The photo is sent for that one check and nothing else.

Deleting your dossier

You can delete your dossier at any time from its main page. Deleting removes every photo and description from our storage, and the share link stops working. There is no waiting period and no one to ask.
